This glamorous summer weight cotton oversized pareo / scarf is colorful and abstract, with gorgeous jagged forms. It can be casually worn over a bikini as a sarong, tied around your neck as chic scarf or even used as the perfect beach throw. Called Detritus, the image depicted comes from Gabbiani’s current body of work investigating and pictorially rebuilding forgotten, overlooked and abandoned spaces. Transient and ephemeral, mystical and fantastic, Gabbiani feels a kindred spirit to these hideouts and peaceful places where architecture and nature coexist in the most “democratic” way within the urban areas she explores.
